Whaling

     

Through my exploration of the whale bone form I have discovered that it is the cruelty of whaling that makes me want to make my work in a response to this cruelty towards these animals.

 




Was inspired by the the interesting form of the whale bone and the historic stories and dangers that the whale has faced over the years. So I decided to recreate this form in a response to the the massive number of whale slughters in the past which almost brought them to the brink of extinction.
